Word 2007 closes evertime I open a new application

When the program closes, there is no error message or save notification. When
I restart word, there is an error with the auto recovered document.

If someone can help me with my problem, I would really appreciate it.

I have patched Office 2007 with SP1 and it is running on Wndows XP SP3.
