Word (2007) configures everythime the software is started

Word in Office 2007 configures each time I start it. I'm using Win Xp and
don't now if that makes a difference, but it is becomming annoying. I have
tried to repair Word but that has not worked either. Any suggestions to stop
the constant configuring?

Are you, by any chance, running both Word 2007 and a previous version on the
same machine? If so, see the "Hacking the Registry" section of the article
