Word 2007 Configuring at Start Up

Hi, I've just loaded Word 2007 on a PC running Vista Premium. When I try to
start word I get a dialogue box stating that Windows is Configuring Office
Word 2007. Then the Configuration Process starts which takes a few minutes.

This happens each time I start word. Tried to reload with no luck. Also
happened with word 2002.

Any help would be appretiated. Thanks!
