Word 2007 continually attempts to list items in Document Recovery

I have a Windows 2003 SP1 Terminal Server which has Office 2007 installed.

No matter which user logs in to this server Word 2007 opens with two
documents in the Document Recovery pane.

As administrator or any other user attempts are made to clear this list and
not recover. The first time yuou clear this facilty the document recovery
window is clear, log in again after closing word properly and the documents
are listed again for recovery.

How do I clear this up so that users do not get prompted for document
recover every time they open word?

Cheers,

Anthony

Did you try opening the files from the recovery pane, then saving them in a
different location? If not needed you can then delete the documents you have
just saved.

Hope this helps,

Hi Brian,

We have tried saving them to a set location, deleting them, asking them not
to recover but they still come back for all users on this server.

Is there a common registry key that stores these files as often Word states
that the files do not exist.

Cheers,

Anthony

Hi Anthony,

The disabled items are in a binary registry key at
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Word\Resiliency\DisabledItems
