I'm trying to copy a table and paste it to another document in Word
2007. Both documents use the exact same template. However, when I
paste the table, it gets completely messed up.
I changed the Word Options->Advanced->"Pasting between documents when
style definitions conflict" to "Keep Source Formatting", and this
improved things somewhat, but 2 things still happen:
1. The header of the table is removed.
2. All formatting within the cells is stripped out.
So, even though both documents have an identical "List Bullet" style,
if I paste to the destination, the formatting of the line is converted
to "Normal + Left: 0.63 cm, Hanging: 0.63 cm".
Just to reiterate that both documents use _exactly_ the same template
and styles.
