Word 2007 Cover Page - how do I get the date to show DD/MM/YY?

Cover Page Quick Parts are formatted to English US language. I'd like it to
be UK so the date shows UK.

Even if my Document Properties are English UK the Date Picker shows as US.
Where can I change this aspect?

Problem solved - in a fashion.

Edit the properties of the Date Picker from the Developer Tab. (Change it to
English UK).

But this is not very user friendly for the typical Word User.

Is there a better way for Cover Pages to be updated to UK style dates
automatically?

You must have installed Office whilst you system was set to another language
(English US) because this should not be the case with Office 2007. It has
definitely not happened on any of the installs that I have done including
this PC which was built only last week.
