Word 2007 immediately crashes when attempting to open a server document (MOSS
2007) from a link within an email. This occurs on both Vista and XP machines.
The document loads without error when opened from
the sharepoint document library. The document is associated with a content
type and has a template and document information panel defined. Also, the
document will open without error if Word is running prior to clicking the
link embedded in the email.
