word 2007 crashes when using with IE 7

Whenever I have word open and I am also using IE 7 word will encounter an
error and shut down. However before it closes it will open a blank document.
In event viewer the error info. is always the same. This is what I see in
event viewer:
faulting app is winword.exe
module is hpz3r5ha
fault address is 0x000467e8
event id 1000

When I click the link within event viewer to further research this, the
information returned states that there is nothing logged for this particular
problem.
This stuff is way over my head and I am not sure what to make of it. Any
help is very much appreciated. Thanks.

It has nothing to do with IE: this is a long standing HP printer driver bug.
You can work around this for now by selecting a different default printer.
But please visit the HP support site as they may have a fix for the problem.
Please let us know if they come up with a solution for you.
