Word 2007 gives me an APPCRASH notice everytime I exit. I cannot use my mouse
for anything in WORD. Most things in word don't work and very little I can do
in word. HELP! Does anyone have a solution?

You have corrupted the Word data Key in the registry. Run regedit, navigate
to and delete the key.

Word DataKey

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\version number\Word\Data

I have deleted the Data key in my registry and word seems to respond better.
But evenually it starts to crash again openning or saving a document, and now
upon closing! When I check the regedit again the data key is back there??
What now?

Word recreates the Data key as soon as it is restarted.

However, it sounds like you have a different problem. Would you clarify your
symptoms please. Are you able to open Word to a blank document and start
editing without problems until you try to save it? Also, can you open Word
to a blank OK, but it crashes when you try to open a document for editing?
At what point does it crash?

Try testing in safe mode. From Start, Run, type in

winword /a

and press enter. Can you open and save document in Safe Mode?
