Word 2007 Crashing...

I have tried everything from changing registry to checking my printer to
changing the document format. I have also re-installed Office 2007 and to no
prevail it is still messing up please help.

Under what circumstances is it crashing? Random or when you are doing
something?

it crashed when i try to save something... and i have done everything to fix
it. what is left for me to do?

First make sure that you have no dead or inaccessible mapped drives setup on
Windows Explorer. If there are none and the problem persists, try testing in
Safe Mode.

From Start, Run (or Winkey+R), type in

winword /a

and press enter. Try editing and saving a document now. Does it work?

it crashes in safe mode also and how can i find/locate dead or inaccessibble
mapped drives? Do you think i will have to reformat my harddrive?

If you open Windows Explorer, you can see your mapped drives. You can remove
them from the Tools menu.

it does not have tools on on Windows Explorer I am using Vista is there
another option for me to?

In Windows Explorer (Winkey+E), click on Organize, Layout and check Menu
Bar. Now you will see Tools.
