Word 2007 Custom Watermark greyed out

I tried posting this but I don't see it....not sure

Anyway, Word 2007 will not show CUSTOM WATERMARKS as a choice. It does
come up in the NORMAL.DOTM but not when I open a new file in Word. I'm
thinking Word 2007 is not seeing the default template but I don't know
how to get Word to look at NORMAL.DOTM...if indeed that's the problem

Are you perhaps in Web Layout or Outline mode? When viewing a document in
either of those views, Custom Watermark will be grayed out. Try switching to
Print Layout view.

Thanks for that reply.... I placed in normal page viewing mode and all
OK.
