Word 2007 - Customizing commands on the Tabs

I am still using the trial version, so this may be something that's not
available but ... I see how to add buttons to the ribbon at the top, but what
I really want to do is delete and add commands or buttons to the various
tabs. For example, I never use underline, but often use "Small Caps" ... I'd
like to replace the "U" with the "SC" button. How is this accomplished in
Word 2007?

Same thing with macros, I had a number of macros on tool bars in Word 2003.
The macros translated without problem to Word 2007, but I can't seem to add
them to a tab.

Any help is appreciated.

That ability is not buit in to Office 2007.
You can get an add-in to do it.
