Word 2007 differences between Microsoft Office Standard & Profess

O

ORG

I created a document in Word 2007 at home, using Microsoft Office Standard.
Brought it to work (on a memory stick) and tried to work with it there, still
using Word 2007, but with Microsoft Office Professional. There were problems
between the two that did not go away even when I used "Save As" and gave it
another name. Anyone able to help me? I searched the Help topics to no
avail.

Thanks

Please explain what kind of problems you experienced.

Also, note that it is important that you never save anything directly to
removable media (if that is what you are trying to do). Instead, save to the
hard disk and then copy it to the memory stick.

There are no differences between Word 2007 in the different versions of
Office 2007. The suite differences are only in which applications are
included.

As Stefan suggests, if you are having problems, it seems likely they are due
to working with files while they are on removable media. Always copy to your
hard drive before opening files in Word.
