Hi

W ehave just had new PC`s installed over the weekend. We were using
Word 2000 but have now moved to some Dell PC`s and have Office 2007
installed

Everything works quickly and all our emails etc work . All our data
has migrated as well.

However , I have 3000+ process charts created over the last 5 years in
Office 2000. Our IT experts said that all would be ok and alledgedly
"Checked".

The files were saved as a Word 97 - 2003 *.doc file.

When I open these file sin Word 2007 , they are displayed with
autoshape boxes out of alignment , parts of charst on one page and
others on another and all teh doucment headings deleted or on the last
page of a multi page document.

Any solutions.Even if its a program that can open th efiles correctly
so I can cut and paste them inot a new document in Office 2007. Our IT
say that we cant have Office 2000 on the new PC`s . So that option is
out.

Hi Brian,

How were the process charts created? There were some changes in alignment settings in later versions of Word (not just in 2007)
that could be in play.

Do you have a sample document and or screen shots of the should be/as is conditions?

Were the documents batch upgraded using the Office Migration Tools for Office 2007 or are you just opening an older file in Word
2007 'as is' from Word 2000?
