Word 2007 documents not opening

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix Word 2007 running on Vista not
opening documents or starting at all? I have just installed Office 2007 after
using the trial version and Word will not start. I have un-installed Word
from start to finish several times and including looking for a solution
throughout the web. All the other services start up, but only Word doesn't
seem to want to open. Any help would be appreciated.
