Word 2007 Encountered a problem

I am trying to save a file as a docx but it shows that it has encountered a
problem and needs to shut down. Auto recovery recovered my document, but I am
unable to save. I have tried shutting down my computer but to no avail- it
repeats the process every time I try to save

Try repairing the Word installation via Word Options|Advanced|Run MS Office Diagnostics.

After running the Diagnostics, is that document still causing problems? What about other documents?
