Word 2007 & EndNote X add-in - window switching super slow !!!

I am aware of the delays caused by thr Acrobat Add-in in Word 2007, and that
the solution is to remove it.

Well, I'm having the exact same problem, ever since I installed the EndNote
X add-in.

It is obviously that which is causing the super long delays in switching
windows,

Can anyone suggest any way of fixing this, without getting rid of the
add-ins (because I really need them)?

Thanx, Ania

You might check at http://endnote.com. I think they have a statement on
EN X and Word 2007. Also, there is an update to EN X. 02 there, which
may help. And links to search the archive of the support list for
EndNote, in case someone already solved this.

On the Mac, there are some general steps with EndNote trouble--not sure
if they apply to Windows, but if the endnote site is not helpful, may be
worth trying.

It's possible that turning off Instant Formatting could help the problem.

You don't always have to have the EndNote add-in installed to use
EndNote. You can uninstall the add-in, use copy and paste from EndNote
to Word to insert citations as you write, and temporarily install the
add-in when you need to format the bibliography (really only truly
necessary when you are ready to send the doc to someone else, I should
think). This could be a last resort.

I was just wondering whether you were able to fix this problem?
I have the same problem. Cheers, Zweibel.
