Word 2007 error on openning xps files?

Hi, I am running word 2007 on Vista x64 ultimate. Recently, when I tried to
open xps files (even files saved via the MS XPS printer driver), word would
complain that .Net 3 is required and when I click on intall, word 2007
response with the file is corrupt. However, if I just use the XPS view from
vista, I can see the file fine. Any fixes?

Hi Mlai,

Are you trying to open an XPS file in Word? While Word can save to PDF and XPS file format it doesn't support opening them.

Is the XPS file type showing IE or Word in file association.
