Word 2007, File "Save as"

S

Scooterpilot

Hi,

When I create a document and select file, save as, nothing happens. In the
past a dialog box would appear and I could create a unique name for the file
and save it. That functioin is no longer available.

I don't have a clue what to look for....need help, PLEASE.

Thanks
Chuck

Since there are no menus in Word 2007, there is no File menu. Are you
referring to Office Button | Save As?

Here, try going to the
windows Start Menu > Run... > Then type in winword /a

Exactly like that:

winword /a
The space and everythng
(or just copy+paste]

Hope it works

That is solely a diagnostic procedure and is not a cure for the underlying
problem.
