Gordon:
Hello. I appreciate your help. However, I don't think my post is as
ambiguous as you are making it out to be. I've included it below:
I've got three or four pages of blocks of text like this (double space
between each block):
xxxxxxxxxxx
xxxxxxxx
xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Since it takes up no more than a third of the width of the page, I was
thinking I could add some columns and, consequently, be able to get more
of those blocks of text onto a page.

I've got blocks of text. That is, I have a set of short lines. If you don't
understand that the x's are supposed to signify words, I'll give you a clear
example.

Then I said I had such blocks for about three pages. However, as they "take
up no more than a a third of the width of a page," I was thinking that I
could get more such blocks on one page if I had colmuns.
You also said that I didn't tell which version of Word I'm using. However,
I'm looking right at the Subject field and it reads "Word 2007. How do you
add columns?" Are you suggesting that Word 2007 is not sufficently specific,
or that you couldn't see what I wrote in the subject field?
Regards,
John
