D

Daniel

Hi everybody,

What is the best way to backup the templates I created and the Quick Access
Toolbar, in which I put a number of buttons/macros ? Just in case something
happens and I have to reinstall Word or replace my brand_new PC...

I just don't know in which folder the Templates are stored.

thank you very much in advance for your kind help,
Best rgds,
Daniel

In the File>Open dialog, click on the Trusted Templates item and it will
show you the path if you then click on the Pull Down arrow at the end of the
Look in control.

Alternatively, Office Button>Word Options>Advanced>General>File Locations.

The QAT is saved as a file Word.qat in the user file area of Windows ie
C:\Documents and Settings\<User Name>\Local Settings\Application
Data\Microsoft\OFFICE
in Vista it is at
C:\Users\<User Name>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Office\
