Hi,
I have a big problem defining the deafult "Save files in this format"
property in Word 2007 using a gpo setting.
We used to tell Word to save default new documents as doc files until most
problems with the new fileformat was cleared. Then we changed to docx without
a hitch but now we need to save as docm because of some embedded code in all
our templates. Problem is Word insists on saving the new/opened dotm
templates as docx. I have looked in the registry on some of the users
machines and all of them have a policy setting telling Word to save as docm.
Is this some sort of "design" by Microsoft or how it should be or have any
of you any suggestion what could be wrong?
