Word 2007 is slow and flashes

This isn't a major problem, mostly just annoying. Word 2007 opens very
slowly, also, if I have more than one word document open and switch from one
to the other, word starts flashing. My computer met all system requirements.
I've never had issues with programs before. I have XP and uninstalled Office
2003 before installing Office Professional 2007. Does anyone know what I can
do to fix this? Can I re-install the program, and if so, will this use up two
of my three license allowances? Thanks so much!

Are you using Norton AV? If so, you need to disable the Office Plug-in in
NAV options.

I'm having similar issues with Office 2002 myself JMM, if you happen to find
an answer, Please post back what you did, ok?

Hey Groucho,

Disabling the Norton AV did work on the speed issue, but Word was still
acting a little goofy. I ended up reinstalling Office Pro 2007 w/out the 2nd
disc and so far, all programs are working perfectly. Hope this helps.
