Word 2007 Linking Text Boxes

L

LPS

Using Word 2007 how do I link text boxes so that text flows from one box to
the next? Example: I have created 5 text boxes. So far, I can only link
the first two. When I try to link the 3rd text box to the second, so that
the text flows from the second box to the third, it does not work.
Essentially, I want to have about 6 - 10 text boxes so that as soon as one
line of text has been entered, the text automaically wraps from one box to
the next. These boxes will be positioned in a table, one text box per row.
Is what I want to do possible?

All help is always greatly appreciated.

Click the border of the first text box, then click the Create Link tool
(Text Box Tools - Format), and click in the second text box.

Click the border of the second text box, then click the Create Link tool
(Text Box Tools - Format), and click in the third text box.

Etc.

The key is to click on the border of the "from" text box in order to
activate the Create Link tool. When you "dump" text into the "to" text box,
you'll see the mouse pointer turn into a vessel that looks like it's pouring
the text into the text box.

Does this help?
