Kermor

Hello, I’m using MS OFFCE 2007. I lost my menu bar on the top of page of
WORD… I tried to look for help inside WORD to bring back this menu bar on and
could not find it... Could you please help and explain to me the
step-by-step, thank you, Kermor

What “menu bar†are you referring to, The Quick Access Toolbar or the Ribbon
Toolbar? You say you lost it so evidently you had it at one time. Perhaps if
you could provide more details, someone could give you step by step help.

Kermor,

I, too have just had the exact same problem. The menu bar for "File",
"Print" (showing the printer icon), "Help", etc. no longer appears on my
screen when I open an exisitng .doc file from a storage device, or try to
create one, when I click on the "W" icon on my desktop shortcut.

Can anyone out there help those of us unable to better describe our problem?

Does anyone know how to 'save' a .doc file as an ASCII file, so that it can
be uploaded to an internet site?

Yes indeed, I lost my ribbon menu suddenly... I must say and I know I'm not
the only one who hates this new MS Office 2007 ribbon menu with the exception
of outlook... It does for sure much more functionalities, neat one but it is
not user-friendly or intuitive... so if you could help me to get it back...
Thanks

If the only the words home, insert, page layout, etc., appear at the top of
the window, right click and if you see a check mark next to "minimize the
ribbon", click those words. The ribbon will reappear.

If it is the QAT that is missing, post back. It's possible that the file
where the QAT is stored has been damaged. One of the clever MVPs should be
able to help you with that.

Ctrl+F1 is a keyboard toggle to show and hide the Ribbon.
