Word 2007 - Macro issue?: File Not Found error

One by one, each file attached to a .dotm template receives this error on
opening. When I click OK, the file opens, but I cannot save the file. The
macros in the template are disabled as well.

The security settings are set to allow signed macros, and all my macros are
signed. Even when I change the security settings to wide open, I get the
same error message.

This is happening to all my templates. The only thing these templates have
in common is that they were converted from Word 2002 and had custom toolbars
which display in the Add-In tab now.

What type of digital signature did you use (i.e. do you have one from a
certification authority or is it SelfCert) and what steps did you use to
sign them?

It was a digital certification sent out by corporate. I saved the file
(digitally signed) all my templates, per their instructions.

BTW, corporate has now washed their hands of all macros issues. As in "we
no longer support macros".

What were their instructions for how to sign the templates? IOW, what
commands did you use to add the digital signature?
