Hi,
I had a reverse issue from the known bug wherein Word warns you of non-
existant macors.
My user was NOT getting the document information bar warning under the
ribbon.
He was getting the pop instructionon how to change Trust Center
settings, but nothing beyond that.
I realized based on Beth Meltons' post that perhaps my user did not
have the Visual Basic for Applications component installed.
Sure enough, he didn't.
Once that component was installed the security warning appeared in the
information bar.
I think this component did not get installed originally because there
was a dependant component [ .Net2.0 ?] which also was not installed.
SO, even though you select 'run all from my computer' on the top drop
down during the office install, various sub-components *may* not
install if dependent infrastructure is not already installed.
Thanks again!
