Word 2007 Moving a PIC

How do I move a PIC around in my WORD 2007 document? In WORD 2003, I was
able to click on the PIC and then on "text box" and it would insert the PIC
inside the text box and I could move and manipulate it anywhere I wanted to
within the document. I cannot figure out how to do this in 2007. So far, I
am not impressed with my 2007 trial. It just doesn't seem to be "user
friendly." Thanks.

For this portion, the location of some of the command choices has changed but the process is basically the same as in Word 2003.

Pictures can be moved without a textbox. Select the picture and use either right click or on the ribbbon Picture Tools=>Format
and select 'Text wrapping' to be something other than 'inline with text'.

With inline with text graphics are treated as being the same as 'big text items' by Word as far as positioning. That's the same in
Word 2003.

To insert a picture in a textbox,
Insert=>Textbox=>Draw Text Box
and with the cursor in the text box use Insert=>Picture

or
Insert=>Shapes=>
choose a rectangle or other shape, then right click the new shape, choose Add Text, then use Insert=>Picture on the ribbon.

For help in finding your way around Word 2007 you may find the Was/Is tools and spreadsheets of commands here to be helpful.

Also, if you used keyboard shortcuts in Word 2003, try the same ones in Word 2007. Even though the commands are moved around many
of the old ones still find things for you in the new version :)
