Word 2007 - My Mouse doesn't work

Hello,
My problem is when I open MS Word 2007 and then I move to another
application, Excel for example, and when I return to MS Word my mouse doesn't
work anymore, but only inside of my document, I mean, I can click on a menu,
but I Can Not click on my body document, I can not use my mouse any more on
my document body. I've tried to uninstall and re-install Office 2007 but I
still have the problem.
I have Windows XP Professional with Service Pack 2
Any help will be appreciated.
