Word 2007 Printing Issues

I am using the "fill effects" in Word 2007. On my screen, the colors
I have chosen blend nicely. They sort of fade into each other. When
I print, I get actual lines. How can I print the blended effect?

I am printing at highest resolution. It's not the printer as I made a
screen capture of it and the faded effect worked. The text didn't
look great.
