Hello Pros:

When ever I want to edit a docmument for example in the middle of the
document, cursor didn't move I've to go the first line and press enter enter
until I reached the dersired position.

whenever I tried to copy a portion of a document, cursor didn't move, I've
to select whole document. When ever I treid to close the word application,
a popup apear telling that word stop working & giving 3 suggestation. Check
on line solution, debug and restart the program. If I click to restart
button, after restarting a popup appear again asking me asking the 3
question 1. check on line solution, debug and close the program. if i
select close the program than it's closed.

Anybody have any idea whz going on?

If you are saying that you cannot use the mouse in the document to edit, it
is the symptom of a corrupt Word Data Key. Run Regedit and navigate to the
Data key and delete it. Word will recreate a new Data Key when you next
start it up.

Word DataKey

Hello Terry:

Thanks for your response, I didnt' see World DataKey...when I go through
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\version number\Word\Data, I'll
tell you in the data folder there 5 files, 1. dafault 2. Setting 3.
SettingsWorldMail 4. Tootbars 5. ToolbarsWordMail
so, u can see there is no DataKey.
Once again thank for ur response.
Looking forward to hear from you.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\version number\Word\Data (or in
this case HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0Word\Data) *is*
the Data key. Folders in the Registry are called "keys."
