Word 2007 "save as" freeze

Why do Word 2007 and Excel freeze when I try to save my documents? I read
about an update that started KB905... that I should delete, but that file
isn't in my installed updates. Any ideas. I'm running on Vista if that
helps.

Have you mapped drives that are unavailable? Look in My Computer for
"disconnected drives", Right click on them, and select "Disconnect" to
remove the mapping.

I don't think I have. I tried to do a system restore to a day before I
noticed the problem, and I was able to save for a couple of days, but now I
can't again.
