Word 2007 Save File issue

Hi,
Is there someone who can help me please?

I am having a very frustrating issue with Word 2007. I run VISTA and when I
enter copied text (from an email or off the internet that may contain links)
into a Word doc and attempt to save file, Word will not save the document and
gets stuck.

This is what comes up: Connecting
"Trying to connect to C:\Users\Eileen\Documents...

The document just freezes up and I can not even close it woth out
re-starting the computer. I can open a new Word doc and type in text and
save it fine but if I attempt to add to an existing doc with links or copy
and past a new doc then this happens.

Can someone please help me? I have searched all over looking for an answer.
Word used to work fine for me.

Now Word just cycles and cycles and will not repond.

Thank you,
Eileen

Usual suspects for such problems are a corrupted normal.dotm file or a
corrupted Data key in the registry. Given the symptoms, I would close Word
and rename Normal.dotm (e.g., as Normalold.dotm), and see if that corrects
the problem.

Normal.dotm should be located here:

C:\Users\Eileen\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Templates

You likely will need to instruct Windows Explorer to display hidden files
and folders in order to be able to see Normal.dotm. (Organize - Folder and
Search Options - View).
