Word 2007 save problem

Hi i have the above as part of "Office Enterprise 2007", no matter what word
document i create and save, when i try to open it again, it tell me widows
cannot find the document. Imported word documents (word 2003 etc) are fine.
have tried searching etc, but thta know help. any ideas would be appreciated.

What happens if you start Word in Safe Mode? From Start | Run (Winkey+R),
type in

winword /a

and press enter. Are you able to open docx documents now?

Hi,
Ok tried that (thanks) but got the following error message"this file could
not be found" close that and can open the file (great), So happy with that
,but what i dont understand is why Documents>Folder>File (opens word) does
not work, and Word>Documents>Folder>File does.
