I'm trying to map XML data between a Word 2007 document and SharePoint
Services 3. I'm able to map data using QuickParts, but I'm having trouble
mapping data from a Word 2007 template for Office Accounting 2007. So far
I've been using the method detailed at:
http://blogs.msdn.com/microsoft_office_word/archive/2007/01/18/xml-mapping-with-word-sharepoint.aspx
This method, however, doesn't work for the Office Accounting 2007 template.
I cannot insert the included XML elements to a QuickPart. What I want to do
is:
1. Export invoice data, such as the customer name, from Office Accounting
2007 to Word 2007. This step works as it should.
2. Save the document to my SharePoint Services 3 intranet and have certain
fields, again, such as the customer name, appear in SharePoint columns. I
can't get this step to work.
I've posted the template to:
http://www.sendspace.com/file/s3800y
Can someone with a better understanding of Word 2007 and SharePoint Services
3 XML mapping take a look at the file and see if what I want to do is
possible. Thank you.
