I'm working in Word 2007 in a .docx document. I have saved it (Ctrl-S)
several times as I work. At some point in time I tap Ctrl-S, and I get the
Save As dialog box. Word 2007 has spontaneously decided that my document is
read-only; it has "Read-Only" in the title bar. I have to save the file
with an extra character in the name, exit Word, delete the original file,
delete the character from the second file's name and then reopen my
document. After a while the document goes Read-Only again. The file is
*not* read-only in Windows Explorer.
Is this a bug or a "feature"?
Other details:
1) I'm working in a brand new Word 2007 document; not one converted from an
earlier version
2) I'm working mostly in Outline view
3) WinXP, SP2, latest Windows Updates, classic interface
