Word 2007 stops responding on save

Just a few days ago, Word 2007 stopped responding on my Vista laptop when I
save a file (i think this also happens with other Office apps). if I
uninstall my network printers, the problem goes away. I have been using
these printers just fine for at least a year. What happened?
