Word 2007 stops working with Xerox C525a printer

Using Vista for first time. Have loaded MS Word, Excel, Outlook 2007. Xerox
Docuprint seems to work OK and displays test page. But MS Word 2007, Excel
2007 both stop working when I try to print anything. Printer attached with
usb and new Dell pC / Windows Vista found driver automatically. Must be some
incompatibility?

Office 2007 is somewhat fussy about printer drivers (which are integral in
formatting the document). See if the driver at
http://www.fujixerox.com.au/support/downloaddriver?productId=307&operatingSystemCode=Windows+Vista
is later than yours.
