Word 2007 Table with pictures: alignment problem

I'm using Word 2007. I have a table with five columns and rows. All the cells
are the same size and alignment. I have twenty five pictures, again, all the
same size. HOWEVER, even through they are the same size. they don't align the
same. If I paste them on to a new line (or in a table cell), some are
slightly higher or to the right or left and I can't figure out where to look
to find out why. Any ideas?

The issue is not the table as I incorrectly said. It's the pictures
themselves. Even though they are all are exactly the same size. when they are
lined up they are not in alignment.
