word 2007 takes a long time to load up

I have MS Office Home and Student 2007 and I have Vista Home Premium.
Onenote, Excel and Powerpoint all open quickly. But Word takes a long time
to open. Around 3-4minutes. What is the problem? I uninstalled Office 2007
than reinstalled it, but the problem still happens

I am experiencing the same problem. I have MS Office Professional
2007 installed on Windows Vista on a brand new laptop. Also
uninstalled and reinstalled to no avail. Any suggestions? This is
really irritating.

I am having the exact same problem after installing Word 2007, then
de-installing it and re-nstalling my original Office 2003 disks. It is only
happening with Word. Were any of the fixes suggested in Terry's notes
effective?
