Word 2007 Template Help

Situation:
I'm trying to create a word 2007 template with a few qiuckpart fields in the
footer, Category="Date and Time"/"SaveDate" and "Document
Information"/"LastSavedBy"

I save the file as a template and then close and re-open word, then create a
new document using the saved template.
Make a few changes to the new file and then save it, close out of word.
When I re-open the saved document the SaveDate is there with the correct
info but the LastSavedBy field disappears completely like it was never there.

Any ideas on what's happening/solution would be greatly appreciated

The SaveDate field is the only one being automatically updated when you open
it. You either need to manually update it, right-click the field and then
select Update Field or in the Print Options, (click the Office Button/Word
Options/Display) and select "Update fields before printing". You'll need to
either print or switch to Print Preview in order to force it to update.
