Word 2007 Toolbar & Background

Now that I found the right discussion group, I'll post this again

New laptops and Word 2007 appear to be opimized for viewing movies. Can I
move the toolbar at the top over to the side so my word document can view
more of the page? Also, can I get a black background rather than the moody
blue thing?

Hi Pete:

1) Next time lucky :) This is the Word Macintosh group. Yeah, sorry
about the Electronic Headless Chicken communities interface that sprays you
into groups at random: we've been trying to get it fixed for three years,
without success.

2) Word 2007 has no toolbars as such: that thing you see is the Ribbon,
which does not behave like a toolbar, and for that reason, you can't move
it. Look up "Minimise" in the Word Help to see the ways you can make it
smaller.

3) You can change the colour scheme: Hit the Microsoft Office Button (the
"Pizza" button) and choose Word Options from the bottom of the dialog. Go
to "Popular" tab and choose "Black" from the colour schemes.

Hope this helps
