Word 2007 - Use Quick Parts with Protected Form?

I have a form in 2007 with 3 sections; second section is unprotected.
In my quick parts I have paragraphs of different text depending on the
situation. Is there any way I could insert quick parts into the unprotected
section?
I thought if I made the one section unprotected it would allow me to use the
quick parts but it is blocked. Any suggestions?

Are you sure that the second section is unprotected? Word 2007 should allow
you to insert quick parts into the unprotected section.
