Word 2007 vs. Word 2000

I installed Microsoft Office Home & Student 2007 but the 2007 Word overrode
my Office Professional 2000 Word. I prefer Word 2000 because it is much
easier to use. I tried repairing Office Professional thinking it would
reinstall Word 200 but that didn't happen. Do I have to install both
programs and start over again? What do I do so 2007 doesn't override 2000?

You have accidentally posted in a Word for Mac newsgroup. Even though there
are many users in here who use both Mac and Windows versions of Word, your
changes of getting an answer are much higher if you repost your question in
a WinWord newsgroup.

The latest version will always take over the shortcuts.

The only way to use both is to start Word 2000 and then use File>Open from
within Word to open your document, or drag the document onto the Word 2000
window.

The only way to get your shortcuts back is to uninstall Word 2007, and then
re-install Word 2000.

If you reinstall, do not forget to re-apply all the updates or you will live
in crash-city.

Cheers
