Word 2007 Won't Allow Page Range Printing

We've determined that this is specific to the file, not the application. We
only have the original section, there are no section breaks in the document.
If we go to print and try the range 1 - 8, it acts like it will print, but it
does not. We've tried every printer including PDF.

We can print the entire document or print current page. We can print page 1,
page 2, etc as "current page", but cannot print our 1 - 8 page range.

Any suggestions?

I found a solution to my own problem. I thought I'd share it since I have
seen the problem elsewhere on the web.

Assuming that the file is corrupted, here is the solution:
1) Create a new, blank document
2) Set up the margins as desired to match the old document
3) Go to the Insert tab
4) Click the drop-down arrow on Object and select "Text From File"
5) Navigate to your file.

This basically takes all of your content and puts it into a new, uncorrupt
document. My headers and footers moved with me and I am now able to print
page ranges.
