Word 2007 Won't open or close without crashing

When I open my word 2007 program it hangs with a blank screen where the
document should be. If I open Word, a new document will appear, but when I go
to save it, the application will crash.

I alway get the same error as Spencer 1/19/2008 "Word has stopped working
correctly Message", but the links provided by Graham don't work.

I installed Office 2007 in Feb and it was working fine. Now Word has stopped
working, everything else (Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint, Project) works fine.
