Word 2007

I recently downloaded a trial version of Office 2007 that includes Word 2007.
Since then my old version, Word 2000, and all documents created in it have
become inaccessible. I was assured that when my trial period expires in July
all previously created documents will revert to their original format,
assuming that I do not convert and pay for 2007. What about documents created
in Word 2007? Will they become accessible in Word 2000?
