word 2008 could freeze more than freezing by now

I cannot use Microsoft Word 2008, it is freezing everytime I open a document.
The RAM memory becames full, and all my system stops with word consuming
99,9% of CPU usage.

Word 2008? Is that a Mac? If so, please post this to the Word Mac newsgroup
where you'll get a more seasoned response.
