Word 2008 created files not fully readable by PC Word (2007 or 2003)users

When I created word files on my mac using Word 2008, pc users that I
send the file to are only able to view the first two pages upon
opening. I get the same result when trying to open the files on my
word 2007 version through my Mac using the Parrallel program to access
the windows OS. Is there an update that I am missing to correct this
issue?

Well, it's impossible to answer your question since you haven't given any
indication of what your present update level is ‹ or what version of OS X
you're using. What I can tell you is that 12.2.3 is the latest available, so
if that isn't what you have it would be a good idea to take care of that
through Help> Check for Updates ‹ regardless of whether that's the problem
or not :) However, I don't believe it is the cause...

It sounds more likely that you created the documents in Publishing Layout
View, probably using one of the Pub Layout templates. No version of PC Word
supports that view, so much of the structure created in documents of that
type can't be properly rendered. If that's the case the only suggestion I
can offer is that you use Save As to create a copy of the file then switch
to Print Layout View in that copy. See how the document looks there, adjust
as necessary then Save the result & send that.

Assuming that the recipients don't need to edit the file you might also
consider sending a PDF rather than a Word document in the first place.
