Word 2008 documents changing text to yellow

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel

A few months ago this problem was posted. Any updates on how to prevent or fix this? PDF or txt are not an option for resumes.

Perhaps PDF or Text aren't options but the cause appears to be Document
Themes & Color Schemes, and use of them most certainly can be avoided :)
Format using Styles & there should be no problem.

Yes: DON'T use Themes in your document (or your Normal template) and the
bug will not occur.

You may have to trash your Normal template and allow Word to create another
one that has not had themes used in it.

You then cannot copy any text that has had themes used on it, or you will
copy the theme in and get the problem back.

If you need to copy from a Themed document, use Edit>Paste Special>Text Only
to make sure you do not bring the theme in.
